Aftercare

Lashes

Avoid getting your lashes wet for 48hrs. Do not rub or touch your eyes. Clean with eyelash foam cleanser every 3 days. Brush through your eyelash tips in the morning. Do not use oil based products around or on your eyes. Do not use any steam or use a hot tub for 48hrs. Stay on top of your infills (recommended every 2-3 weeks).

Tanning

After the spray tan, put on loose clothing and try NOT to touch your skin. The spray does not always dry completely on the skin, therefore, if you touch, you will end up with brown palms. Wash your tan off after the recommended time. Pop in the shower and wash the spray off, DO NOT use a shower puff, sponge or exfoliate, just use clean water. To keep your tan looking good and make it last as long as possible, just use shower gel and apply moisturier everyday. Do not exercise when your tan is developing.

Hand and Feet

Always wear rubber gloves when washing up, dusting, gardening, applying chemical tan or hair dye. Do not file the surface of the nail. Do not bite or pick your nails if one breaks have it repaired immediately. Use non-acetone nail polish remover if necessary. If or when you decide to remove your nails, please do not attempt to take them off yourself. Make an appointment. Every 2-3 weeks your nails will require maintenance, this is imperative to the upkeep of the nails. Daily application of cuticle oil will keep your nails flexible and prevent against cracks and breaks.

Hair Removal

Please note: Some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal temporary reactions, particularly if this is your first wax. These symptoms should subside over the next 24-48hrs. If you experience persistent redness or irritation, or you have any question please get in touch. Keep the waxed area clean and avoid heat and friction during the next 24-48hrs. No hot baths or showers. No saunas, hot tubs, massage or steam treatments. No Tanning. Avoid scratching or touching the treated area with unwashed hands. Wear clean loose fitting clothes. Avoid swimming. Do you apply deodorants, body sprays, powders, lotions or other products to the area.

Eye Treatments

If any redness or irritation occurs apply a damp cold compress and seek medical advice. Avoid eye make up for 12 hours. Avoid touching or rubbing the eye immediately after the treatment. Avoid washing your hair or swimming/saunas/sunbeds for 24hrs. Strong sunlight will make effects fade faster. Do you not have any other eye treatments within 24hrs LVL and Lamination can not be done within 4 weeks

Dermaplaning

Although it is impossible to list every potential risk and complication, the following are recognised as contraindications for dermaplaning treatment and must be disclosed prior to treatment. Active Acne, Active infection of any type, Any raised lesions, Any recent chemical peel procedure,Chemotherapy or radiation, Eczema or dermatitis, Family history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation Hermophillia Hormonal therapy that produces thick pigmentation, Moles, Oral Blood thinner medication, Recent use of topical agents such as glycolic acids, alpha-hydroxy acids and retin A, Rosacea, Skin cancer, Sunburn.

We will take every precaution to ensure your skin is well hydrated and calm following each session, however you may experience excessive dryness or even some peeling between sessions which may or may not be normal. Always contact us if you have any concerns. Dermaplaning may cause minor superficial abrasions which may not appear until a day or two following your treatment. After your treatment SPF must be worn at all time. Tanning beds should be avoided. Always contact us if you have any concerns.
